The Origiall Chopard L.U.C Twist watch was created in 2006.Since it was endowed with attractive look and exquisite soul- Chopard 1.96 caliber, Chopard’s first in-house automatic caliber, it was particularly well-received as a contemporary dress model. But Chopard seems to not so content with the success. Early this year, it launched the second generation of the L.U.C Twist watch.
The new L.U.C Twist watches is offered in either white gold and rose gold version: the former presents slightly sporty black dial with white gold Dauphine hands while the latter uses classic silver dial with rose gold Dauphine hands.A major improvement has been made on the dial for better legibility. As we know, the old models feature the combination of guilloched white gold center and white gold/rose gold hands. This design presents quite a cosmetic beauty. However, it affects watches readability, especially on that white gold version. New L.U.C Twist watches avoid this problem and look perfect with a more austere look. The dial showcases raised Arabic hour markers , small seconds subdial at 7 o’clock position and the date display at 3 o’clock, nothing different from old models.
The case construction also remains the same, 41mm at diameter and 10mm thick . It has equipped sapphire crystal at front and back. The watch crown is still located at 4 o’clock position. The exquisite L.U.C 1.96 calibre, incorporated with twin mainspring barrels, boats a stunning 70 -hour power reserve . The precision and reliability has been proved by the strict tests of the COSC. The bridges features straight Côtes de Genève design and golden engraving.
