The event, taking place May 17-19 in Washington, DC, honors the nation’s top entrepreneurs and advocates of entrepreneurship. More than 100 small-business owners from across the country will gather for the three-day conference, which is highlighted by the announcement of the National Small Business Person of the Year.
In addition to honors, National Small Business Week will feature town hall meetings and forums where entrepreneurs can learn about best practices and issues facing small business. Lesonsky will be on the panel for the “Social Media Forum: Social Media, Transforming the Way You Do Business” on Tuesday, May 19, at 11:00 a.m.
“I’m very excited to help entrepreneurs understand the fast-expanding world of social media and how it can help them,” said Lesonsky. An avid Twitter user who has embraced social media, Lesonsky has used the power of online networking to help grow her content and consulting company GrowBiz Media, which she launched last year after more than 25 years as Editorial Director of Entrepreneur Magazine.
