Jacksonville, NC – ( February 10, 2009) Organizers of the show announced today that on Saturday, June 20, 2009, EuroRennen, an European Car Show featuring ¼ mile racing, will be held at Coastal Plains Dragway. In the event of rain on Saturday, the show will be held on Sunday, June 21, rain or shine! EuroRennen is expected to be the most highly attended track, trade, and show event on the East Coast.
Based on the European love affair with powerful, stylish and detail oriented cars, promoters expect EuroRennen to attract enthusiasts from a wide region along the eastern seaboard. EuroRennen will feature the newest cars in the business as well as limited production vehicles, collector cars, track cars, homemade monsters, and those rare exotics you only see in person once in a blue moon. From painstakingly restored classics to beasts fresh off the dealers’ lots, chances are you will find it at the show! EuroRennen will incorporate numerous manufacturers and aftermarket vendors. Any attendee with a European car will have the opportunity to run their car on a state of the art drag strip as well as enter it in the show for judging.
EuroRennen 2009 is sponsored this year by Black Forest Industries. Based out of Cary, NC, Black Forest Industries provides installs, maintenance, OEM replacement, performance and cosmetic parts to the euro scene. As an associate sponsor, Absolute Automotive, based out of Durham, NC provides full service maintenance and custom tuning for the Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen and Volvo market.
Many vendors and sponsors are donating items to the EuroRennen Raffle. Revenue from the raffle will be donated to the St. Baldricks Foundation, whose mission is to raise awareness and funds to cure kids’ cancer by supporting cancer research and fellowships. The highlight of their cause is the many patrons who shave their heads in support.
