Technology Recycling Group Expands With New Name--2trg

Company moves to larger facility to handle e-waste recycling
By: 2trg

May 15, 2009 - PRLog -- Technology Recycling Group (TRG), an e-waste (electronic waste) recycler located in Cincinnati, OH and Louisville, KY, and its technology deployment group, National Technology Resource Group (NTRG), have announced that they have changed their name to 2trg and have expanded their operations.   As a combined group, 2trg is the Midwest’s premier company for the continuous lifecycle of technology.
On May 8, 2009, 2trg moved into a 100,000 square foot facility at 11093 Kenwood Road, Building 7 in Blue Ash, Ohio and put into operation a brand-new state of the art monitor recycling equipment.    Technology Recycling Group had been headquartered in St. Bernard but business growth and the expansion of operations necessitated the move to a larger plant.  The phone remains 513-761-5333; the new website is www.2trg.com.
“2trg is fully committed to secure data eradication and destruction methods and legally compliant recycling efforts for e-waste,” explained Elli Workum, CEO.  “Our processes for picking up your equipment, destroying your data, and recycling the hardware meet or exceed the stringent requirements by Fortune 500 companies and the EPA.  In addition, we are one of only ten companies worldwide who have invested in the “CRT Angel,” touted as the most efficient, cost-effective and waste-compliant CRT disposal machine in the world today.  Our “Glass Devil” turns the waste glass from the CRT into a clean product for reuse.  There are only 10 Angel-and-Devil recycling systems in the world and ours can be viewed at our Cincinnati headquarters on Kenwood Road.   Partnering with us assures your executives that data won’t get into the wrong hands and a public relations nightmare won’t happen, since we abide by a zero-landfill policy and also refuse to ship e-waste to undeveloped countries.”
Stuart Shafer, Chief Client Officer, explains the synergy.  “The time-consuming jobs of new technology  and infrastructure cabling deployment along with the removal and recycling of old technology can be expertly handled by a single vendor.  Now you can adapt to new technology as quickly as it changes and help protect the environment through one source--2trg.”
2trg is also a Certified Woman-Owned Corporation helping organizations meet diversity-supplier requirements.   Visit www.2trg.com for more information or phone 513-761-5333 to arrange a tour of the company’s new recycling facility.
