LAST NIGHT Thursday 14th May saw the WHISKI bar in Edinburgh’s Royal Mile auction off a bottle of the Famous Grouse 37 Year Old in aid of the Sick Kids Foundation in Edinburgh. £340 was raised from the sale held at a whisky tasting in the bar that saw 22 people try out a range of the Famous Grouse blends including the Black Grouse, Highland Park and the Macallan. The whisky tasting was part of a range of events organized by the WHISKI bar to celebrate Homecoming Scotland and in particular May’s Whisky Month.
“We had a great evening, everyone enjoyed themselves and I am delighted to have raised £340 for the Sick Kids which is a very worthy local cause” said Whiski bars’ owner Gary Still.
