The Lake Norman Hospice Regatta is a member of the National Hospice Regatta Alliance, a network of hospice regattas that raise money and awareness for hospice care. The Lake Norman Hospice Regatta is a qualifying event for the Hospice Regattas National Championship to be held in spring 2010.
A portion of the Regatta entry fees, proceeds from the live and silent auctions and community contributions to Hospice & Palliative Care Lake Norman will benefit the local organization’
Hospice & Palliative Care Lake Norman is a regional office of Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region and together they serve eight counties in the region, including all the communities surrounding Lake Norman.
Last year the event raised more than $60,000 for the Hospice & Palliative Care Lake Norman.
