Celebrating their 75th year of operation as a single point, family owned business, Cross fully expected to be invited to remain with the Chrysler organization but nevertheless heaved a sigh of relief when the official notice was received.
Unfortunately, not all the dealers in the Louisville metro will remain as part of the Chrysler network. Three area dealers have been slated for termination and Cross's President, Joe Cross, wants to be sure that all customers of those stores have a convenient place to receive quality service and repair work on their Chryslers, Jeeps and Dodges. Consequently, he is welcoming those displaced owners to his Five Star Rated Service Department.
Many dealers do not like doing warranty repairs and sometimes refuse to work on vehicles that they did not sell. While Cross has always been willing to assist owners in need, Mr. Cross specifically wants to be sure that current Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge purchasers from the closed dealerships get the level of service that they deserve. "These are difficult times", he said, " and consumers who chose to purchase Chrysler products, even if not from me, need to get what they paid for in terms of skilled, professional service and repairs. I welcome them to my dealership."
