In 2004, Cyber Technology began with three employees in the basement of an insurance broker, Lev Barinskiy, who is now president of the company. In 2006, the company opened an office in downtown Columbus and hired five employees.

A year later, the company launched one of its premier websites, InsuranceLeadz.com, which started as a reaction to the overwhelming amount of websites generating bulk leads. This site was the impetus to tremendous growth, with Cyber Technology posting a 4000% growth in revenue. In addition, the company opened a second office in Chicago and currently employs over 30 people.
