Scott Bartlett, lead guitarist for the rock quintet Saving Abel, is starting a new fashion trend with his edgy clothing line, TATCo, the artists tattoo company. On the band’s newest video, Drowning (Face Down), the music video for the band’s third single from their gold certified self-titled debut album, Bartlett wears one of the signature pieces from TATCO that is already in select high-end urban clothing boutiques nationwide.
In Memphis during its largest annual music festival, Memphis in May, hundreds of fans converged on a popular boutique, The Baer’s Den, to purchase pieces from the TATCo line and get up close and personal with Bartlett during the company’s soft launch. Bartlett also unveiled his newest addition to the company with Zach Meyers of Shinedown, a line of TATCO clothing featuring Meyers’ famous body tattoos that are now on vests and shirts for purchase. “It’
The concept behind TATCo is to fuse rock music and tattoo art in creative clothing designs inspired by the bands and artists in today’s alternative rock genre. “Our fans love our music and our tattoos, but they can’t go out and get the tattoo of every band that they add to their CD collection. TATCo makes it possible to rock out in a new way,” said Bartlett on a recent interview with an ABC affiliate about his new clothing line.
Hundreds of fans have already purchased TATCo gear even though the official launch of the clothing company is not until May 30th in Kansas City, Missouri.
