First off, let's explain that we don't want anyone to go through with any enhanced interrogation technique. This site was created to raise funds for our troops and to give the backers of these techniques a method of putting money where their mouth is.
A few weeks ago Sean Hannity volunteered to be waterboarded for charity. "For the Troops" he said. Well, time has gone by and we still don't have a date for this charity event. This website was created to help Sean drum up the support that the troops deserve.
Many question if Sean will actually go through with the waterboarding. Well, we here at WaterboardforCharity.com will help our troops regardless if he goes through with it or not. Here is what we are doing:
While Keith Olbermann has said he will give $1000.00 per second for Sean's waterboarding, we realize that there is a recession going on. So, we are asking for a pledge of $5 to be donated to a charity for the troops. We will be collecting pledges via email until July 4th 2009.
If Sean goes through with the waterboarding on or before July 4th, 2009, the pledges will be sent an email asking for the contribution to be sent to Sean's favorite Military charity. It will be donated in the name of Sean "I am a man of my word" Hannity.
If Sean does not go through with the waterboarding on or before July 4th, 2009, the pledges will be sent an email asking for the contribution to be sen to Keith Olbermann's favorite Military charity. The donations will be made in the name of Sean "You can't believe a word I say" Hannity.
After that we will collect pledges for charities in the names of other celebrities that back "enhanced interrogation techniques". You vote, we collect the pledges, and the celebrities get exposed for who they really are.
The first pledge on the site has been made and we hope it gets donated in the name of Sean "you can't believe a word I say" Hannity. Why? because the whole technique is against everything that the US of A stands for. As a US Army vet I believe that.
