Mark your calendars and get ready to head to Rush Lake Golf Course, because it's that time once again. Media Communications Association International' Annual Golf Outing will be be held Friday June 19, 2009. The annual event is an opportunity for members and guests to come out and enjoy a day of fun in the sun while networking with friends and colleagues.
Each year participants gather for games of skill and chance, golf rounds, door prizes, hole prizes, swag, dinner and a champagne toast. Amongst the good time and laughter, many relationships are formed- both personal and professional. Proceeds from the golf outing go towards chapter seminars and the Bill Rigstad Scholarship Fund. The scholarships are open to any student who is planning a career in communications.
MCA-I is an international organization of media communication professionals that strive to provide forums for education, resources for information and opportunities for networking- such as the MCA-I Annual Boat Cruise and The Golden Cassette Awards in November.
