Memorial Weekend - Free download of special song "Forget Me Not" a tribute to soldiers

May 19, 2009 - PRLog -- As the trumpet plays taps with violin harmonizing , Laurie Lee Lewis' voice hauntingly enters the song "Forget Me Not." She tells us first about the tiny flowers (Forget Me Nots) that grow by the graves... and about the soldiers names and the lives they gave. Then about joy and loss to the families... then ends the verse with, "reminding me... Forget Me Not."

Forget Me Not hits many facets as it reminds us to "live fully and to honor those who served and lost their lives." Just as this song has many messages, so does the woman that sings it.

Coming out of the shoots determined to raise money for 5 charities, Laurie Lee Lewis delivers a kaledescope of messages in her new CD - ONE TO ONE.  Forget Me Not, is sure to become a favorite for radio over Memorial  and Veteran's Day. One of the charities that will benefit from the CD sales helps Veterans and their families with post war trauma and financial aid.

Forget Me Not will be available for free download May 22nd-25th.
