SEATTLE - AzaleaRSS v1.1 is a free RSS editor written in Microsoft Excel 2003 and Microsoft Excel 2007. Configure and edit RSS 2.0 files using nothing more than an Excel spreadsheet.

Using AzaleaRSS anyone can start writing and publishing their own RSS feeds quickly and easily. AzaleaRSS supports the creation of podcasts and webcasts by enclosing audio files (MP3, WAV, etc.) and video files (MPEG, QuickTime, etc.)

Many public interest groups, NGO’s, and organizations both large and small have web sites and blogs, and use internet social media like Facebook and Twitter. Among all the web publishing tools, RSS is often overlooked or at best underemphasized. AzaleaRSS is attempting to correct this by offering a way to create and edit RSS feeds.

The AzaleaRSS.com web site is a robust resource with tutorials and how-to’s on creating RSS feeds from sources as diverse as Flickr, WordPress, YouTube, and Google Calendar. It also points to tools that create PDF files from RSS feeds, embed RSS feeds into HTML, and more.

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) files are used by websites and blogs to deliver timely updates to readers. RSS files are the technology behind podcasts and webcasts.
