thewinepro.co.uk is a unique new wine web site, which offers wine advice and a sommelier service for supermarket shoppers!
James Spriggs, the founder of thewinepro described the rational behind the website:

thewinepro is a unique wine website offering tailor-made, personal wine advice for supermarket wine consumers. This bespoke advice comes direct to you from a qualified wine expert. thewinepro customised services are available to our subscribers for just £15 per year!
The aim of thewinepro is to offer bespoke professional wine advice to our customers in order to enhance their enjoyment of wine. For just £15 per year we offer these two services:

2. Weekly Email Wine Recommendations
Supermarket Sommelier:
The supermarket sommelier service will give you unlimited personalised supermarket wine suggestions specific to your own individual tastes, budget and supermarket choice. The service allows you to give detailed selection criteria or if you prefer you could leave the choice entirely up to us. Once you have outlined your personal criteria we will then send you an email giving you a specific wine to try and its price to match your specification.
Email Wine Recommendations:
thewinepro weekly email service provides you with a message containing a "wine of the week" recommendation for each of the five major supermarkets, and a tasting note for each of the wines. thewinepro believes that good food and good wine go hand in hand, so also included in your weekly email will be a suggestion of an ideal food match that complements each of the recommended wines perfectly.
thewinepro recommends a range of different wine styles at varying price points which have been selected by us as being particularly good quality or value.
Included in your subscription costs of £15 per year, these tailored recommendations will be sent directly to you once per week. You will also have access to the archive of our email recommendations.
thewinepro also has a free trial so potential customers can try out our service. When you sign up to the free trial you receive our latest weekly email recommendations and a trial membership code, which allows you two supermarket sommelier requests.
