                                       GEI NAMES RAYMOND K. FEARS
                            VP, STRATEGIC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

FLINT, Mich., May 13, 2009 – Global Energy Innovations, Inc. (GEI), a Flint, Mich.-based provider and developer of high-temperature fuel cell auxiliary power units, has named Raymond K. Fears as vice president of strategic business development, according to GEI President and CTO K. Joel Berry.

“Mr. Fears brings to GEI a wealth of valuable marketing experience gained from his work with major Fortune 500 companies and at a top tier consulting firm,” said Berry.  “We are excited to have him on the team at GEI.”

At GEI, Fears responsibilities include business development and strategic planning.  His previous position was at Ingersoll Rand, where he was director of strategic business development within the climate controls technologies sector, which included Thermo King, Hussman Corp., and Ingersoll Rand’s European and Asia/Pacific operations.  At Ingersoll Rand, Fears developed and implemented strategic initiatives outside of the sector’s core businesses.

Prior to Ingersoll Rand, Mr. Fears held a variety of marketing, strategic planning and manufacturing positions within the automotive industry, serving as strategic planning manager for GM’s Buick City Project.

During his tenure at Ford Motor Company, Mr. Fears led the strategy and implementation process for a new family of alternators resulting in construction of a new plant in India and the establishment of a new customer base in Europe.

Mr. Fears received his MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Sloan School of Management) in 1979.  In 1977, he received a Bachelor of Science degree from Kettering University (formerly General Motors Institute) with a concentration in Industrial Engineering & Business Administration.
