May 13, 2009 – Glenda Godshall, founder and president of Nashua Nutrition (www.NashuaNutrition.com)
, has been named 2009 Woman Business Owner of the Year by the New Hampshire Small Business Administration.
Nashua Nutrition, which specializes in medical-grade nutritional products, including bariatric and weight-loss products, was started in 2003 as a small nutrition store inside a local gym. Godshall ran the store part-time while providing nutritional counseling and doing the books for the gym.
However, after building a Web site (www.NashuaNutrition.com), business took off and Godshall moved to a new facility that doubled her space and then to a second facility that tripled the space.
Godshall, who lives in Brookline, was nominated for the award by Lise Howson of Citizens Bank.
