iReport is an open source standalone third party graphic-based program that has been developed to provide report designing capabilities to JasperReport (Java reporting library) and JasperServer (reporting server), which is a Java-based open source reporting tool. It has been designed by programmers of The Software Revolution, Inc. (TSRI).
