(Olathe, KS) - The Irrigation Association is pleased to announce that Matt Cline, of Teacher's Landscaping & Irrigation, has passed the required IA certification Examination to become a Certified Irrigation Contractor (CIC). A CIC is an Irrigation Specialist whose primary business is the execution of contracts or subcontracts to install, repair and maintain irrigation systems. Cline is one of only five professionals in Kansas to hold the CIC certification and title.
"This is a high honor for any contractor in the landscape irrigation industry. Obtaining a certification from the Irrigation Association demonstrates a contractors expertise within his field" stated Aaron Budimlija, CLIA Water Conservation Manager for Ewing Irrigation & Supply.
The CIC certification program began over 25 years ago, to allow qualified irrigation professionals to exhibit their experience and technical competence within and outside the industry. Exams are fashioned to meet standards of validity, reliability and difficulty. Certified professionals subscribe to a Code of Ethics and make a commitment to professionalism in the industry.
Cline entered the landscape irrigation industry full-time, with his brother, Les, upon the completion of his teaching and coaching career in 2000. He is passionate about helping his clients save water, thus reducing their carbon footprint on the environment.
