In 2010, Civil Aviation Administration of China is planning to start the hub and link airfield projects in Shanghai Pudong, Chengdu, Wuhan and Nanjing and more than 20 feeder airfield constructions in Daocheng and Yading etc with the investment scale reaching 250 billion Yuan (36.4 billion USD). As far as the investors are concerned, it is the first choice to invest in the airfields in China from the long run, which is characterized as strategic investment. At present, the investments in Chinese airfields have been not very restrictive for the civil capitals and the foreign funds, and there are only some specific requirements for the investment ratio: some large link airfields have admitted to absorb the foreign funds. However, some large airfields, such as Shanghai Pudong Airfield, receive considerable government investments with definite construction goals and the civil capitals and foreign funds can not intervene in large amounts.
