Despite a recent trend in domestic heating solutions where wall heaters are being installed as an alternative to traditional baseboard heaters, Vornado Air, a leader in airflow technology with more than 60 years of industry experience, is continuing its line of personal and stand alone whole room heaters.
The new trend is to install fan powered electric heaters into walls that are not ideal for baseline heaters such as entrances, small bathrooms or walk-in closets, and areas where the walls are located near patio doors. Although these heaters don’t take up much space, they also can’t be moved around for convenience. Once installed, they’re permanent fixtures. And, installation requires the services of a master electrician.
Vornado whole room heaters, on the other hand, provide similar functionality in a compact, portable design. The Vornado VH2, for example, is only 11.75" x 11.87" x 9.50". The best thing about Vornado whole room heaters is that they require no installation whatsoever. Just plug and turn on. This means one or two units can be enough for an entire home as they can be moved from room to room.
Also, wall heaters require another hole in the wall for a thermostat and another one for a timer mount. Vornado products have thermostats and control panels mounted on the units themselves. A few of their products even have LCD screens that can easily be read in the dark. And, some of them work with remote controls so that they can be controlled from anywhere in the room.
