Effective immediately, Pineville Tire & Service Center name has been changed to Carolina Tire & Service Center., officials from XL Tire Inc., (Carolina’s parent company) have announced.
XL Tire, Inc., which provides tires and services to the automotive industry, purchased the assets of Pineville Tire & Service Center, located in Pineville, NC, near the end of 2008. Changing the company name to Carolina Tire & Service Center better positions the company for future growth in the Charlotte, NC metro area. “With the growth of population in South Charlotte, the South Carolina border as well as having the new LYNX train nearby, we no longer just service the Pineville area”, said XL Tire Inc. president & CEO Jim Seidel. “Sales have increased steadily since our acquisition and are in step with our business plans. With our plan on track we are now searching for another location in the Carolina’s”
Carolina Tire & Service Center is committed to excellence when it comes to tires and automotive repairs. As a full service repair with 13 service bays, 7,000 square feet and a giant showroom, Carolina Tire offers customers the very best in tire expertise and the automotive mechanical expertise. Other improvements include major facility renovations. In addition, new, updated automotive equipment is being purchased and existing machinery is being overhauled to improve efficiency for our associates and our customers.
