New Media Solutions won two awards. The first is in the cable TV category for the Homes Northwest program which was produced for NMS client, Windermere Puyallup/Canyon Road. Homes Northwest aired online and on Comcast all across Western Washington featuring real estate related news, information, video home tours and analysis. NMS President Tom Layson, shot, wrote, hosted and edited the program.
The second award came in the streaming video category for Who We Are—What We Believe which is a four part series produced for Cascade Christian Schools. The series featured testimonials from students, parents, teachers and administrators blending a variety of styles and storytelling techniques to bring the private school district’s message to life on its website, on YouTube and as a presentation tool to show to families interesting learning more about the district’s programs.
“It’s great to be recognized, but what really excites me is to see the positive response the videos have generated for my clients,” New Media Solutions President Tom Layson said. “It takes an organization with a lot of vision to put their best foot forward with television and video - and Cascade and Windermere Puyallup/Canyon Road ‘get it’ - which makes them great to work with.”

Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, web based innovators and freelancers.
