Professional and Elite Athletes Living with Diabetes to Supply Lessons Learned at Upcoming Event

This year’s conference will provide education coupled with social and physical activities to create a unique opportunity to share up-to-date techniques for enhancing both diabetes management and exercise at all levels.

May 12, 2009 - PRLog -- At the upcoming DESA North American Conference being held in Boston, MA on June 25-28, 2009, professional and elite athletes living with diabetes will share their experiences and current techniques for enhancing diabetes management during exercise.

This event will connect patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, scientists, and clinicians in an interactive and educational forum. Each day of this conference will start with early morning exercise workout options such as running, yoga, tai chi, or aerobics followed by presentations from experts in the diabetes field and inspirational talks from professional athletes who have learned to effectively manage their diabetes regimen.
