Pharmaco Group is the only facility in Central Asia capable of qualifying for the GMP international certificate of quality.
This was announced by Victor Mikhailenko, head of Pharmengineer LLC, which is the leading company specializing in designing and engineering pharmaceutical enterprises in CIS. He arrived in Kyrgyzstan in order to hold training for the employees of the new pharmaceutical factory that opened in “Bishkek” free economic zone.
The conclusion regarding the Kyrgyz facility’s ability and aptitude to compete in quality with any European production facility was made by Mr. Mikhailenko upon conducting numerous testing of production sites. According to the expert, Pharmaco Group meets the Western standards of the good manufacturing practice for production and quality control.
Victor Mikhailenko, head of Pharmengineer LLC, also stated, “Facility equipment is fully computerized. Special programs maintain manufacturing parameters without the need for human intervention and reject and discard samples that fail to qualify. The facility has a unique system of sterile-space rooms. The air is filtered and controlled in particles of 0.5 micron in size. International GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standard if a set of rules governing production of medications, medical goods for diagnostics, food items, food supplements and active ingredients. In pharmaceutical manufacturing GMP sets the parameters for every stage of production, starting with the floor material in the manufacturing facility to staff apparel and labeling of the packages. Given that all medication production standards are met, the international commission issues the GMP certificate of quality.
Presently only 10% of CIS enterprises operate in full compliance with GMP standards.
