CHT Launches mCool 2.0 $299 NTD Rate Plan with XCome Powered Client

PR Log (Press Release) – May 12, 2009 – Taipei, Taiwan – XCome Technology, a mobile services provider announced the launch of the mCool 2.0 client (powered by XCome) and the $299 NTD ($9 USD) rate plan on Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan’s number one mobile operator. This service is unique from other mobile offerings because it supports both feature phones and high-end handsets alike, and enables the promotion and easy discovery of mobile services as diverse as Windows Live Messenger IM, Phone Book Backup, Real-Time RSS Newsfeeds, Mobile Bilingual Dictionary, and VPon Mobile Coupons for instant food and live entertainment discounts.  

As a mobile services enabler, XCome Technology worked closely with Chunghwa Telecom to build these additional value-added services into the mCool 2.0 client so mobile subscribers can have a convenient productivity tool to discover, customize and organize their mobile services and digital content.  

Chunghwa Telecom is also bundling their new CHT 3300 handset, in a zero NTD promotion when subscribers sign up for a mCool $299 NTD ($9 USD) rate plan contract, which includes all-you-can-eat mobile Internet access.  

As a timely incentive, users who sign up for mCool 2.0 before the end of May 2009 will also receive a digital commemorative copy of Taiwan pop star Jolin Tsai’s newest chart-topping Flower Butterfly album.
