NEW ALBUM RELEASE – “THE HARVEST” BY TRIBAL SEEDS

San Diego, California - May 11, 2009 – Tribal Seeds / Tribal Seeds Music is pleased to announce the upcoming release of their much anticipated sophomore album entitled, “THE HARVEST” (TSM1003) scheduled to be released in June 2009. THE HARVEST is a follow up to their first official, self-titled album which was picked on iTunes “Best of 2008” list.

THE HARVEST consists of fourteen new and original songs. Written and produced by Tribal Seeds. Lead singer, Steven continues the task of writing all the lyrics, while T-Ray (keyboards) and the rest of the band compose all their music. THE HARVEST was recorded & mixed by Alan Sanderson at Signature Sound, Studio West & Strate Sound studios in San Diego, Ca.

A few surprises ensue, with POD’s front man, Sonny Sandoval as special guest on “Warning”. John (bass) debuts his singing and writing talents on songs “Come Around” & “Vampire”. While the lyrics for “Libertad” were co-written by Tony (guitar).

Tribal Seeds’ current band member line up consists of:

John – Bass, Back up vocals
Tony – Guitar
Carlos – Drums
Joe – Percussions, Back up vocals

2008 proved to be a productive year for Tribal Seeds. The band had several successful tours. Their self-titled album was picked on iTunes “Best of 2008”, “Top Ten Reggae Albums”. Tribal Seeds also received the “Best World / Reggae Music Award” at the San Diego Music Awards.

Already, 2009 is off to a great start for Tribal Seeds, with early tours to Guam, Hawaii, West Coast (CA, OR, WA) and Aruba in late June. Tribal Seeds is set to get back on the road in support of their latest album, after the bands official CD release concert being held at the legendary SOMA venue in San Diego, Ca on June 6th.
