“Affinity Group Solutions” tech analyst reports that Microsoft would still like to form a partnership with Yahoo.
Before Microsoft tried to buy Yahoo but was unsuccessful however Chief Executive Steve Ballmer would still like to explore the possibilities of forming a partnership.
“Affinity Group Solutions” reporting from a industry event in Germany that Ballmer said "I have said many times that we no longer are interested in acquiring Yahoo, but we'd see the potential to create real value by partnering with Yahoo, I have said many times that when the time is right I'm sure we will have such discussions and I've said many times I'm not going to tell you when the time is right."
Earlier this month executives for Microsoft and Yahoo got together to meet about what possible partnerships could be formed.
By forming an alliance “Affinity Group Solutions” feels that they can form quite a formidable partnership to take on Google. Conditions at the moment are tough and by working together they will be able to utilize the best of each company for profitable gain.
