Panepinto Properties - Jersey City
Designed by A.W. Tillinghast, one of the greatest course designers in the history of golf who also designed Winged Foot and Baltustrol, the 18-hole Suburban course features 6,457 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 71.3 and it has a slope rating of 132.
The tournament will be held on May 18, 2009 and features putting, hole in one (win a new car), closest to the pin, closest to the line, and closest to the drive.
Proceeds from the golf outing will go directly to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County to sustain the valuable programs offered by the Boys & Girls Club and enables them to continue serving the youth of our community.
For 116 years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County has been in the forefront of youth development, working with young people from disadvantaged economic, social and family circumstances. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County has actively sought to enrich the lives of girls and boys whom other youth agencies fail to reach.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County, serving youth in Jersey City since 1893 and in Hoboken since 1984, is part of a nationwide affiliation of local, autonomous organizations that work to help young people of all backgrounds to develop the qualities they need to become responsible citizens and leaders.
Joseph A. Panepinto, Jr.—principal at Panepinto Properties, a real estate development company based in Jersey City— recently joined the Board of Trustees for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hudson County. Mr. Panepinto continues a family legacy of charitable work serving Jersey City’s community in many areas.
