Valerie Mason-Robinson also known as the “Green Beauty Queen” is speaking at the Governor’s Conference May 12 in Atlantic City at the Sheraton.
Valerie Mason-Robinson has been featured as a “green beauty expert” at the Go Green Expo in NYC, LA, and Philadelphia. Valerie writes a blog called www.ecoconsciousbeauty.com
The Governor’s Conference will feature keynote addresses from Coke Roberts and Maya Angelou. The Governor’s Conference will address women’s issues from starting your own business, healthy living, and the economy. Women from all over the state of New Jersey are expected to attend and Lisa Jackson, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency is expected to attend the networking affair.
Valerie is excited to be speaking at the Governor’s Conference and she hopes she can educate people about the toxic chemicals in many personal care products including: makeup, body washes, and hair products.
Valerie says, “ I look forward to the Governor’s Conference” she believes there is a great movement for all things “GREEN” but we have a long way to go in terms of educating our community. Valerie is currently working on a book that will address the needs of going green but also helping the communities that we live in. Everyone has a opportunity to make a difference. Valerie says, " I look forward to bringing my book here to the Governor's conference next year and discussing ways we can go green from the ghettos of Newark to the million dollar homes in Cape May."
