PRLog (Press Release) - May 08, 2009 -
Washington, DC – The US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (USPAACC Education Foundation) announced today that Asian American Business Enterprises (ABEs) from across the United States are sponsoring their 24th Anniversary CelebrAsian Business Opportunity Conference ‘09, May 20 – 22, New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge in Brooklyn, New York. This national Conference is USPAACC Education Foundation’s continuing effort to turn challenges facing small and minority businesses into opportunities.

The Conference theme, “Business beyond Boundaries: Turning Challenges into Opportunities—Follow the Money,” will show businesses how to thrive even during economic downturns, how to get (and do) business in the Obama Administration’s “green” energy movement, and how to win a piece of the $787 billion Economic Stimulus package.

Wells Fargo and PepsiCo are the Corporate Co-Chairs; Merck and The Coca-Cola Company are the Program Co-Chairs; Binary Group, Topline Products Company and Westech International are the Asian American Program Co-Chairs. PCCW Global sponsors the Excellence Awards Gala Dinner with GE; Planned System International for Hallmark Scholarship; Tronex International for the Excellence Awards Reception; TAJ Technologies for Cyber Café; Alorica Inc. for Successful Marketing Panel; Infinity Tech Group for Business Leaders and Scholarship Awards Luncheon; Waitex International sponsors the Welcome Reception; and TCCS Limited and Northbound LLC together for one-on-one meetings.

Over 16 ABEs and 40 Fortune 500 Corporations are sponsoring CelebrAsian ‘09. More than 100 Asian American businesses will be represented and over 600 Asian American suppliers and business owners are expected to participate in the three-day Conference.

“We are proud to have a diverse roster of successful Asian American businesses who once again support our flagship event,” said Susan Au Allen, USPAACC Education Foundation National President & CEO. “This Conference is especially designed for them—our ABEs to be able to successfully connect with our partners from Fortune 500 Corporations, the Federal, State and Local government, and the minority community, so that they could succeed in today’s challenging marketplace.”

Allen noted that USPAACC Education Foundation also works closely with Fortune Corporations, the Federal, State and Local government agencies, ABEs and other national minority businesses organizations, such as the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, to form a far-reaching network of strategic resources for small and minority business nationwide. USPAACC Education Foundation has established a network of 12,000 Asian American businesses through its Regional Chapters in Northern and Southern California, New York, Texas, Illinois, Georgia, and Washington, DC-Maryland-Virginia in the National Capital Area.

CelebrAsian—the oldest and largest pan Asian American business opportunity conference in the United States—connects hundreds of top-caliber Asian American suppliers and business owners with buyers from Fortune 500 corporations, the Federal, State and Local government, and the small and minority business community, through pre-scheduled one-on-one matchmaking business meetings, informative summits, workshops, and networking events.

The Conference will shine the spotlight on the success and achievements of outstanding Asian American businesses, through the USPAACC Education Foundation/Wells Fargo Asian Business Leadership Awards, the Business Leaders and Scholarship Awards Luncheon, and The Excellence Awards Gala Dinner presenting the “Fast 50 Asian American Businesses.”
