AmeriGlide Introduces All-New "Mercury" High-Speed Vertical Platform Lifts

May 8, 2009 - PRLog -- AmeriGlide has announced an addition to its line of vertical platform lifts, sometimes known as wheelchair lifts. The new AmeriGlide "Mercury" lifts transport their users at speeds over twice as fast as standard platform lifts. "Mercury" lifts also feature more options than most vertical platform lifts, such as a custom-sized platform and an acrylic enclosure which helps users to not feel cramped while inside.

AmeriGlide's customers may choose the Mercury Hydraulic Vertical Lift, which transports users at 20 feet per minute (more than twice as fast as the 8-9 FPM offered by most vertical platform lifts); or the Mercury Speed+ Vertical Lift, which transports users even faster at 30 FPM. Both models are available with or without an enclosure. This means that there are four new models of the "Mercury" vertical platform lift for AmeriGlide's customers to choose from overall.

The added convenience of a vertical platform lift that works so much faster than most is expected to thrill AmeriGlide's customers. In an effort to please their customers even more, AmeriGlide has also made the "Mercury" series the most customizable line of vertical platform lifts anywhere, with options that are not available with any other vertical platform lifts.

The lift height is specified by the customer; there are many options for the gates and doors such as acrylic, steel, and oak; the platform size can be customized; and there are several other miscellaneous options as far as colors and control options.
