Budget cuts have forced many organizations to look for new solutions for their
training needs.
Hardly anyone questions the value of company training, but the current dismal
economic climate has forced many organizations to make deep budget cuts.
Unfortunately, one of the areas first cut is an organization's training budget. The
dilemma faced by many organizations is how to get more bang for their training
buck. One solution some have turned to is a non-profit speaker’s bureau.
The Society for Financial Awareness (SOFA) is a non-profit speakers bureau whose
mission is to end financial illiteracy. SOFA members (financial advisors,
attorneys, tax professionals, mortgage brokers, realtors, health & wellness
professionals)
seminars at Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, churches and other
organizations.
SOFA professionals are not allowed to charge the sponsoring organization for these
events, and they are prohibited from selling any product or service at the event.
If a seminar attendee wishes to meet with a SOFA professional, they are asked to
fill out a survey at the end of the seminar. The consultation will be held offsite
and is complimentary.
For more information on how to sponsor a SOFA seminar at your organization, please
call the Metro Atlanta Chapter at 770-740-8744. You can also visit the SOFA website at
