Remodeling Magazine Names Pine Street Carpenters to its “Big50”

May 8, 2009 - PRLog -- Pine Street Carpenters, Inc., a design-build remodeling company based in West Chester, has been named to Remodeling Magazine’s annual Big50 list.

The Big50 is a remodeling business excellence award for best practices. Every May, Remodeling Magazine inducts 50 new companies who have set the standard for professionalism and integrity through smart marketing, exemplary business practices, unique design, and extraordinary impact on their community or the industry at large. Big50 remodelers run successful, growing companies of various sizes that have taken the lead in raising the standards of the industry. Pine Street Carpenters is proud to be part of that list, and will be featured in the magazine’s May issue.

Dolan founded Pine Street Carpenters in 1993 after graduating from Villanova University. Living on Pine Street in Philadelphia at the time, he started the company as a way of saving money for graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania. Graduate school came and went, but Pine Street did not.

Today, Pine Street Carpenters is a full service design-build remodeling firm based in West Chester. With 35 employees, the company provides design and remodeling services to residential and institutional clients in the region, and commercial clients throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, from North Carolina to Maine.

Pine Street Carpenters continues to grow, and later this year the company will be opening a new kitchen and cabinetry showroom in West Chester. The company, which has designed and remodeled kitchens since its start, is currently a supplier of four cabinetry lines – Plain & Fancy Custom Cabinetry, Wood-Mode Fine Custom Cabinetry, DuraSupreme Cabinetry, and Ultracraft Cabinetry.

In addition to kitchens, Pine Street’s residential team provides a host of remodeling services, including: additions, baths, basements, whole-house renovations, and historic restorations. Its commercial and institutional divisions handle office remodels, tenant fit-outs, multi-store roll-outs, building upgrades and renovations, and rental and developer property renovations.
