May 8, 2009 - PRLog -- SuperPad 3, Mobile GIS software developed by SuperGeo Technologies, provides more convenient and friendly manipulation functions, which can facilitate outdoor investigators with the simplified manipulation and improve the working efficiency.

“Slide Zoom” and “Panning Frame” are the new functions for map browsing provided in SuperPad 3. Given that PDAs on the market are all manipulated by touch screen, users can use thumb or stylus to manipulate the functions. Therefore, “Slide Zoom” enables users to zoom in/out the map by thumb or stylus; “Panning Frame” frames the map with eight arrows such as, up, down, left, right, upper-right, lower-right, upper-left, and lower-left and allows users to touch the arrow by thumb or stylus to pan the map. Furthermore, “Slide Zoom” and “Panning Frame” can be utilized together in SuperPad 3 to zoom in/out and pan the map and to increase the efficiency of map browsing.
