One by One: The Best of Chicago Singer-Songwriters May 13th at Martyrs

May 7, 2009 - PRLog -- Martyrs will host One by One: The Best of Chicago Singer-Songwriters on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 8pm.  Seven local singer/songwriters will come together to share their original music including: Jeanne T. Arrigo, Brad Cole, Dan Connolly, Al Day, Sue Fink, Jeff Libman, and Terry MacNamara – all of whom met at the Old Town School Of Music’s “First Friday Songwriters Exchange”.

While individually they have been writing/performing for many years, they will also accompany each other in various configurations on-stage. Expect to hear a variety of styles, ideas, and rhythms -- and to have your spirits uplifted!  

The evening will be hosted by local singer-songwriter, Brad Cole, who has played in a number of Chicago-based bands including Treatment, Psycholove and The Second Story as the lead singer and principal songwriter.  He also performed with NYC based The Subscribers and has performed across the US, Mexico and the UK.  

"There is so much talent in this town flying under the radar.  This is a diverse showcase featuring the seasoned and the raw, they will make you laugh and cry and you will want to hear more," Cole remarks.
