Makeup Artists The Who’s Who in the Industry is the latest creation by Linda Randall, well known makeup, beauty and etiquette expert. This book is more than just a book about makeup artists, much more. With a focus on bringing together all things glamorous into a single resource and promotional tour, the book is set to encompass the industry as a whole with sections dedicated to makeup artists, skin care lines, spas and salons, bridal and wedding experts, medical beauty experts, designers, photographers, romantic destinations and many world renown experts in the glamour industry. The book is designed to be an exquisite piece of art in its own right and a collector’s item, with a new publication annually for the next ten years.
Due to be released this fall at a grand launch affair in Las Vegas, LR and her staff are pouring their heart and souls into this one of a kind project that will redefine the industry and marketing standards as we know them. After noticing a missing link between the professionals in the beauty industry and the clients in need of services, LR conceived the idea of the book with a goal to connect the industry and consumers to the services they need in a way that has never been done.
LR’s “full circle marketing” program includes the book Makeup Artists The Who’s Who in the Industry as well as a forty city national and international publicity and promotion tour. Included is an amazing lead generating system called the Client Connection, which serves to bring the consumer and the service provider together as well as promotional and gifting tents at events such as the Academy Awards?
Between book signings, speaking engagements and more, LR Randall is so very conscience of what is important, having lost her father to cancer a year ago, the book and the tour are about more than just make up, glamour and marketing but also an opportunity to raise money for cancer research. Her partnerships in support of cancer research are just one way she is doing this.
With a goal to raise 1 million dollars for cancer research and the overwhelming support of renown makeup artists such as Jamie Svay, creator of Tastee Cosmetics, seen on QVC and featured in magazines, who donates a portion of all her proceeds to the American Cancer Society, and Alexis Vogel, makeup artist to the likes of Paula Abdul and Carmen Elektra, along with many other well known supporters, they are sure to make a positive difference.
Vogel, a star in her own right, is humbly proud of her contribution and appearance on The Doctors where she performed a complete, nonsurgical make over that transformed a woman completely, making her unrecognizable to her family and giving her a new found confidence. “This is the kind of thing that changes lives forever and for the better. We tend to forget the positive impact the beauty industry has on our everyday lives” says LR. The show is set to air on May 25th, check your local listings for times.
The cancer issue is particularly close to Jamie Svay’s heart whose father died suddenly in 2002 of cancer. He put her through college to help her achieve her dreams and be the success she is today.
Makeup Artists The Who’s Who in the Industry will showcase these ladies and many more amazing pioneers and brave entrepreneurs in the industry.
In conjunction with the book and tour LR is holding a national and international Makeup Artist Competition, set to be the largest in the history of the beauty industry, with an individual competition in each of the forty cities on the promotional tour and winners in each city competing in the national competition in the fall of 2010.
