Small businesses are hiring and they’re using SmartRecruiters, the free and easy applicant tracking system (ATS) from MrTed Ltd., to do it. The group of 1,000 small businesses now using SmartRecruiters includes companies from 45 different industries and countries, though approximately 90% of the businesses are in the US where unemployment is way up. Small business recruiters have been inundated with resumes from job seekers and while hiring is down, small businesses still need a system to manage the heightened level of activity, and many are using SmartRecruiters to prepare for hiring as the economy improves.
