Charity Ghost Hunt In Hyde

PR Log (Press Release) – May 06, 2009 – Local Paranormal Investigation Team - Ghost Tours UK - are looking for intrepid ghost hunters to join them on a forthcoming charity ghost hunt at Hyde Town Hall.  

Hyde Town Hall is steeped in history and the residual energy of spirits from yesteryear will hopefully make for an interesting if spooky experience.

In addition to finding evidence of ghosts and spirits the event has been organised to raise valuable funds for Merlyn’s Teddy Bear Air Care - a charity whose aim is to set up a rapid response transport service for critically ill children and their families who need to be moved to specialist units.  The charity was the brainchild of Merlyn Lewis - an expert in running both ground and air ambulance services.  The charity will buy and operate specialist helicopters  that will be, in effect, a modular intensive care unit, capable of transporting the patient, medical escort and relative in safety and comfort.  The flight would be directly from hospital to hospital at speeds in excess of 165 miles per hour.  All this means the journey will be as safe and as fast for the patient as possible whilst ensuring they receive the best care during the journey.

The charity is relying on the generosity of the general public and anyone who wishes to fulfil the ambition of spending the night searching for ghosts whilst helping such a worthwhile cause can join the team on the 12th June.
