Deborah Shane, Owner/Founder of Train with Shane, is presenting a workshop as part of its Women’s Empowerment Series on June 5, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Colonial Country Club, 9181 Independence Way, Fort Myers, FL to help attendees successfully navigate important life issues and to learn to be more autonomous and independent through interactions with others. Guest speaker Jennifer Basey, AAMS, Financial Advisor with Edward Jones, will discuss fact and fiction about women and managing money and offer five steps to taking control of your financial life. Also guest speaking is Attorney Natly Torres-Alvarado, an associate with the law firm of Knott, Consoer, Ebelini, Hart & Swett, P.A., who will discuss how the judicial system works in civil cases, such as contract and business disputes—and how alternative dispute resolution (mediation) can often be an effective way to reduce costs, time and stress while resolving differences.
Attendees will get hands-on experience interacting with others in a wide variety of life changing situations and come away with useful tools to help face and solve many of life’s challenges. $49.00 covers conference attendance and lunch. Reservations are required
