The new function "Scan & Copy" turns a BlackBerry smartphone's camera into a mobile scanner. It lets users scan documents and print them with a Bluetooth® or network printer, fax them or simultaneously save them on the corporate network, ensuring that important information is backed up. Cortado Corporate Server 4.0 includes the first PDF creator for smartphones enabling users to create and send write-protected PDF files directly from a BlackBerry smartphone. Another option is the ability to retrieve reports from almost any database; the user can initiate, print, fax, or send reports by e-mail.
Having completely re-engineered its now patent pending mobile print technology, Cortado offers intelligent printer matching that ensures the appropriate printer driver is always used for printing, completely eliminating any administrative outlay.
