Academy of Business Leadership Named as Charity Recipient for Icon Jet Tour

May 5, 2009 - PRLog -- (LOS ANGELES)  -The Academy of Business Leadership (ABL) was selected by C2C Media and Icon Jet as one of two charity recipients for the launch of Icon Jet’s Exclusive Luxury Boeing 737 VIP Charter Service.  The new Luxury Boeing 737 will be the largest private jet in the world.  A percentage of the funding from the event will be used to cover scholarships for low-income students participating in ABL’s 2009 Summer Business Institute starting in June.

The Summer Business Institute (SBI) is open to students ages 10-19.  SBI students learn how to write a business plan, run a business, invest in the stock market, manage their personal finances, and more. They are taught by MBA instructors from top universities including Harvard, Stanford, and UC Berkley.  SBI Alumni have gone on to start businesses and programs in their communities.  As an illustration, an ABL alumnus, age 17, just secured $1,000,000 to start a restaurant in downtown Los Angeles.  The Summer Business Institute gives students a ten-to-twenty year head start on life and helps them, at a young age, to realize their dreams.

The Icon Jet promotional tour will kick off on May 28th with a black tie event at the Van Nuys Airport.  This invitation only event will host the highest of the upper echelon CEO’s and Executives from around the globe.   The promotional tour will then continue to Vegas from May 29-31st where special guests will enjoy a trip on Icon Jets new 737 Charter Service and will be pampered at the Palms on the Vegas strip.  The whole event will be covered in the new reality series “Chasing the Red Carpet.”
