The 7th Annual Extreme Motorsports Expo is kicking up MORE DUST!!!! This Monday the Extreme Motorsports Expo confirmed a partnership with the Lusk Legacy Foundation for the upcoming 7th Annual event May 15-17, 2009 @ the O.C. Fair & Events Center. The partnership includes a weekend packed with Jeremy Lusk’s personal memorabilia on museum display, Fund raising, Free autograph signings by Metal Mulisha Riders, and a silent auction of Lusk’s actual Motorcycle. “The people of Southern California & Orange County in particular have a strong desire to pay their respects to the late Jeremy Lusk, his family, and his fellow team riders” says Memory Rose, the Show Manager for the Event. This partnership will do just that! The foundation has agreed to grace the Extreme Motorsports Expo, the O.C. Fairgrounds, and the people of Southern California with the opportunity to see the athletes most prized possessions. His motorcycle, jersey, helmet, riding boots and more will be on display for the public to see and pay their respects to over the 3 day weekend in May. Additionally a number of his fellow riders, and family members will be there to meet and greet Orange County fans, signing autographs and taking pictures. The Lusk Legacy Foundation was born shortly after the untimely death of all-star athlete, Jeremy Lusk and is “dedicated to improving the overall safety in the sport of freestyle motocross at both the professional and recreational levels by protecting the livelihoods of the riders and their families.” The 7th Annual Extreme Motorsports Expo has reserved a special section near the Main Stage for the 3 day event for the Lusk Legacy Foundation where they will be selling T-shirts, Bracelets and other items. All the proceeds from these sales will go to the foundation and getting the word out about its mission.
