Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce to Host Marketing Mixer

PR Log (Press Release) – May 05, 2009 – Redondo Beach Chamber of Commerce & Visitor's Bureau to host "The Marketing Mix," a special workshop to help local small businesses navigate through difficult times.

No one has been hit harder in this depressed economy than small businesses, which remain the backbone of this nation's economic make-up. Realizing this disturbing fact, community leaders and activists in the South Bay have banded together to create a special one-day workshop to help local small businesses navigate through these difficult times. The Redondo and Manhattan Beach Chambers of Commerce will host "The Marketing Mix," on May 6 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Beach Cities Health District (Beach Cities Room).  On the table for discussion are strategies to attract new business and to maintain existing clients and vendors. We would very much like to offer this small business assistance to small business owners throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area. We would love for you to interview or talk to one of the local keynote speakers who are teaching the seminar. In this economy, we can't afford to leave anyone out. Please help us help small business in the South Bay and Greater Los Angeles Area.

Since 1992 Hugh has focused on “local” advertising and marketing with an emphasis on creating effective campaigns for small to medium range businesses. Over the past 17 years, Hugh has produced well over 1,000 TV-commercials, which air all over Southern California.

Manhattan Beach small business owner Joey Farrales of SEM Consultants, a website development firm:

Joey Farrales has worked in the online advertising space since 2000 with Chicago Based Classified Ventures. He specialized in online advertising for the Apartment Industry with Apartments.com. In 2002, he moved to Los Angeles to work for the Los Angeles Times in the LATimes.com Division to help promote the Apartments.com platform along with online sponsorship and banners. He continued selling cutting edge technology with Resite in 2005 promoting online rent payment systems and with ADP in 2006 promoting automated payroll and HR resources. In 2007, he returned to the Apartment Industry as the Publisher of The Los Angeles Apartment Guide. Today, he is the Regional Online Sales Manager at LANG Interactive specializing in Search Engine Marketing and Behavioral Targeting.
