May 5, 2009 - PRLog -- All over the world parents’ would like to influence the gender of their children.  In some countries, girls are regarded as lesser individuals and are often treated as such, whereas, in other cultures they are regarded as “Daddy’s little Princess” and can do no wrong.

In India, it is estimated that over 11.2 million female foetuses have been aborted in the past 20 years and a similar pattern is starting to emerge from China where the affects of their “one child policy” are starting to show.  In more Westernised countries, whilst wanting to keep the natural balance of gender, there is a temptation for couples to try and influence the gender of their next child.  In some cases, this may be for genuine medical reasons such as “saviour siblings”, in others it may just be a natural desire for a balanced family.

Parents feel they should have the right to choose if they so wish but religious and ethical groups are against the idea and try to quash any suggestions that it can be achieved.  Much of the research into the ethics of such processes rule in favour of the maximisation of parental happiness and therefore argues that this is the most important factor in allowing parents to have the choice.  This relates to the natural methods of gender selection rather than much deeper issues relating to more invasive and medical procedures relating to this process.

However, a new book has been published to help parents to have some bearing on the sex of their child in order to generate their desired family composition without the need for expensive or ethically questionable procedures.  This is based upon natural selection methods but uses techniques based upon all research methods to allow for 94% accurate results.

A mother-of-3 from Chester, says “If I hadn’t come across this method, I’d still be trying for a girl after 2 boys, but now I’ve had my beautiful daughter – I feel that my family is complete.”

“How to choose the Gender of your Baby” by Ashley Spencer gives potential parents the choice and knowledge in order to influence the gender of their next child without the need for expensive medical bills or specialist treatment.

An insight into the success of the method found in Ashley’s book can be found at http://mybabygenderchoice.blogspot.com/
