Although Trevor has retired from day to day operations, he will retain his director’s involvement with the company. As part of the succession planning Trevor appointed Michael Cottle as Managing Director to run the company in 2008.
Trevor established Silchester in 1988 and built up the company to its present size. He ensured that the company was an early adopter of the ISO9000 quality standard, following the higher-level ‘TickIT’ software quality guidance and had involvement with the evolution of the Pharmaceutical ‘GAMP’ standards. Trevor always ensured that great emphasis was placed on staff training and opportunity for the engineers to gain experience over a wide varied area. As a result ‘Silchester’
