The Art of Jewellery Meets The Art Of Giving Back

PR Log (Press Release) – May 05, 2009 – On Friday April 17th, 2009, Inspired by Jewellery (www.inspiredbyjewellery.com) attended an event hosted by the Windsor Regional Hospital and the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) South Chapter. Taking place at the Hospice Centre of Windsor Ontario, the event included guest speaker Prerna Chandak, co-founder of Inspired by Jewellery. The company featured some of its jewellery at the event and 20% of all sales made were donated to the Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation

Inspired by Jewellery was thrilled to be attending the event, as the retailer values ethical and fair morals when doing business. “As a growing business in our day and age, we feel that it is very important to give back to our community,” Said Chief Designer, Preeti Chandak. This is why the company pays above market price for all work done by their artisans and contributes a portion of sales to various non-profit groups. Chandak states that, “Jewellery should not only make a woman look good, but also feel good – knowing that some of the proceeds of the jewellery you have bought is going back into the community through various organizations definitely enhances this.” The company looks forward to continue making a difference in their community locally and nationally, as they continue to grow and inspire women through the power of jewellery.
