The City and County of Swansea will be welcoming the world famous Red Arrows, the Royal Air Force Aerobatic team, to the Wales National Air Show in Swansea Bay on July 11th and 12th.
2009 is the 45th display year for the Red Arrows and the daredevil aerobatic team will be wowing the crowds in Swansea with incredible displays in RAF Hawk aircrafts.
Frances Jenkins, Strategic Manager for Tourism, Marketing and Events for Swansea Council said,
“Many people will remember the terrific spectacle put on by the Red Arrows display team when they came to Swansea in 2007. We are delighted that as part of our first full air show, we have managed to secure them as one of the highlights of this event. The Red Arrows always provide a major spectator attraction and we look forward to their display over Swansea Bay in July.”

Leader, of the Red Arrows said, “We hope to inspire, enthral and captivate many thousands of people with this year’s display, and are looking forward to meeting fans of the team at the new Wales National Airshow in Swansea.”
The Wales National Airshow is on July 11th and 12th in Swansea Bay. The two day spectacular will include dazzling air displays from the RAF and Royal Navy and fun ground activities by the Army, trade stands, a funfair and lots more.
