LARRY PERKINS, Founder of El Molino Advisors, Inc., has over nine years of consulting and advisory experience with companies undergoing transition. His roles have included turnaround advisor, strategic consultant, investment banker, financial executive, and crisis manager to middle market companies. Larry has worked with manufacturers, business service providers, and retailers in multiple industries on projects ranging from profit improvement to working capital management to strategic planning to transaction execution.
JIM BELL, CEO of Jim Bell Skateboard Ramps (and most recently Aura) started his company in 2004 with $50 in his pocket. Jim began building skateboards when he was 14, eventually moving to San Diego to pursue his dream of working in the skateboarding industry. After a string of sales jobs with different companies, he returned to his passion for building ramps and started his own company in 2004. Jim has been featured on MTV’s "Pimp my Ride", the Ellen Show on NBC, FOX 6 News, Channel 8 News, participated with the Make-a-Wish Foundation (granting 3 wishes), and builds the ASR show ramps. There have been a lot of changes, challenges, and crisis in the five years since he started, and Jim will open up about all of them, how he got through them and how you can too.
