Eating out in Tenerife has always been a confusing affair, with a wide variety of foods and eating establishments available in most places on the Island.
Tenerife Dining has been helping people find places to eat since 2007, and has now upped the number of restaurants listed to over 500.
You can search the restaurants by type, location or name and also see at a glance how many user reviews are in the database for that restaurant. Tenerife Dining functions mainly on user content, with users able to submit reviews, rate Restaurants on a scale of 1 to 10 stars, and even add their own restaurants, if they find one that isn’t already listed on the site.
Tenerife Dining is working on adding a bright new feature to the site that for Restaurant owners that do not currently have their own website. Once complete, it will allow owners to request a website from a number of templates available online and go ahead and build their own online presence.
Mike Barker, a co-owner of the site commented: “We have grown from strength to strength – the user submitted content has been excellent since day one. We are just adding more Restaurants;
He continued: “We are also very excited about the new features coming soon – more ways for users to get involved in the site, like our own forums, user blogs, meeting boards, but I am most excited about the features we’re adding for Restaurant owners themselves, especially the web presence bit!”
