Long Island, NY - Personal Chef Glenn Burgess and Personal Chef Lia Soscia, CPC, were recently named President and Vice President, respectively, of the NY Metro Chapter of the United States Personal Chef Association. Both Glenn and Lia have been actively involved in the organization since 2005. Glenn steps into the leadership role as President after serving the last two years as VP. Lia has been handling media relations for the group for the last 4 years.
“Being asked by my peers to take the lead in guiding our group is a wonderful testament to my recent work as Vice President,” says Chef Glenn. “Our Chapter gives the public convenient access to personal chefs all across the metro area – whether you live on Long Island, the City, Westchester or northern/central New Jersey. I want people to know that their kitchen can become the best restaurant in town; how great is that?”
“I am thrilled to be an executive member of this board. The NY Metro Chapter is one of the largest groups of organized personal chefs in the country. This is an amazing group of personal chefs, each with a vast knowledge and skill in this unique cheffing industry. It is my honor to be able to work with the board to continue to educate consumers about the personal chef industry and to also continue to attract new personal chefs to our organization,”
